Princess Salon is a game where you get to be a stylist. There are numerous designs to choose from depending on what you want the princess to look like. You also have a few different princesses instead of just one girl that you might find in other games. Each princess gets her day started with a spa treatment. This is when you get to scrub her face to get it clean and wash the hair before it's styled. The makeup session is next. With the multiple colors that are available, you can have a little fun with the makeup that you use. If she doesn't like something, you can sometimes see her frown, especially if you use colors that don't really match. You can paint her nails and even pick out jewelry for her to wear. The final stage of the salon treatment is finding the clothes that she will wear.

The game is colorful with somewhat of a cartoon quality at times. However, it's fun to play for those who like styling. There are four princesses total to choose from, each from a different continent so that you have a variety of hair types and skin color to work with. It's easy to wipe the slate clean if you don't like something, starting over until you get the right look for the princess.
